Collating
  • Paginate your document for ease of use and to ensure collating accuracy

  • Provide a collated proof or sample for us to match.

  • Provide additional stock for setup.

Folding
  • Print text weight stocks with folds parallel to the grain direction.

  • Provide additional stock for setup.

Creasing
  • Print cover weight stocks with folds perpendicular to the grain direction.

  • For best results when folding laminated sheets, we will crease after laminating.

Perforating
  • Select tooth patterns and counts appropriate for the stock and project. For instance, micro-perfing a cover stock may lead to pre-mature separation of the removable piece.

Cutting
  • Print trim marks on press sheets to ensure cutting accuracy.

  • Provide additional stock for setup.

Drilling
  • Provide a drilling sample that indicates the hole diameter, center-to-center spacing and hole-to-edge margin required for your project.

  • Indicate the hole diameter and center-to-center spacing required for drilling.

Numbering
  • Avoid printing a box, line or “No.” where the number will be imprinted. This helps minimize mis-registration.

  • Provide additional stock for setup.

Eyeleting and Grommeting
  • Determine the outside diameter of the eyelet or grommet shaft prior to supplying pre-drilled stock

  • Provide additional stock for setup.

Taping
  • Determine the compatibility of the adhesive with your printing process prior to printing your entire run.

  • Provide additional stock for setup.

Padding
  • When printing pads multiples up on the press sheets, orient the HEAD of the finished pads to the outside of the press sheets. Depending upon the number up, we may be able to glue multiple pads at once.

  • Provide additional stock for setup.
